“ Simply a wonderfully atmospheric place in terms of both decor and the overall vibe. Beautifully presented and delicious food, with attention to every detail. The crowd only added to the great ambiance, and I absolutely understand why it was so busy. We really appreciated that the music wasn’t too loud, and the clever use of spotlights gave the whole place a nostalgic, vintage charm. The cherry on top was the top notch service. Jacob truly stole our hearts, making our moment even more special as we celebrated my sister’s birthday. Thank you. ”
“ Dropped in for breakfast on a weekend. As per other Ivy brasserie 's the decor inside creates such a good vibe and a general upmarket feeling. Service was prompt and efficient. Usual selection of breakfast items , we chose from sourdough toast, pastries (although a bit on the small side), scrambled eggs and salmon and a mini full English. Would recommend ”
“ This is the 3rd restaurant in the Ivy chain that we have dined at and it didn't disappoint. A perfect place to take my mum for her impending 80th. The food was on point, the service impeccable and the ambience, on a beautifully sunny early evening, was perfect. The island bar has every drink and possible cocktail you could ever want, the decor is colonial and the lighting perfect. It's not a cheap dining experience, for the four of us it was a touch under 300 but it's the service, that is unseen but always there, that makes dining at the Ivy a truly memorable experience ”
“ The Ivy is a wonderfully beautiful, quirky, elegant, bright and impressive eatery. The moment you arrive, they make you feel welcome. The restaurant is spacious and incredibly decorated with a lovely seaside theme in their artwork while maintaining their usual "Ivy" decor. The staff are friendly, helpful, attentive, and hard-working. You're never without whatever you need. The food has always been delicious. It never disappoints. And it never differs. The consistent quality always wows, and with beautiful presentation every time. It's never too loud so that you can't hear your conversation but also not so quiet you're scared to have one. I always leave happier than when I turned up so I look forward to returning here again soon. ”
“ Delicious, well portioned food and amazing beverages. Stopped in for brunch and were able to get in without a reservation. Wanted to go back for dinner but was quite packed on a Friday night- definitely will make reservations next time! Service is excellent. Ambiance is gorgeous. Highly recommended! ”
“ I recently visited The Ivy Bournemouth for lunch, and was very impressed by the whole experience. The restaurant is beautiful, with a spectacular bar taking centre stage. The walls are adorned with colourful tropical murals, and it feels very lavish. It’s definitely one of my favourite Ivy restaurants in terms of decor. The food and service were exceptional as always. My French onion soup was absolutely sensational, and the chicken parmigiana main course was equally as good. Overall, the whole experience was fantastic, and I will definitely recommend a visit if you’re looking for somewhere a little more decadent for a special meal. ”
“ had an excellent dinner, had the fish and chips which was delicious (especially the mushy peas) and the chips were lovely. The Ivy chocolate bombe dessert was really yummy although my friend got the apple tart and it wasn’t the best as tasted of pure alcohol. Overall had a great time, didn’t at all feel like i was being rushed and the service was excellent. (although was definitely one of the most expensive meals i have ever had). loved it! ”
“ Was very impressed tonight (Monday) with everything that made our 35th wedding anniversary special. Admittedly I had some doubts when we booked having read some of the reviews regarding portion sizes and long waiting times. The greeting at the door was both friendly and informative, we were lead to a lovely table and told that our server would be Ben. We opted for the British Icons menu.. I chose the duck starter and my wife had the crab.. both were a decent size and very tasty. For the main course we both went for the minute steak in peppercorn sauce, this came with an ample portion of chips and we also chose a side of green beans . We also had a couple of glasses of champagne included and one glass of wine. The total bill..including service charge was 89.. but was also treated to a free large chocolate profiterole as it was a special occasion. Ben was brilliant with his customer service skills..discreetly topping up our water when empty, providing us with answers to our questions , making sure that we were happy during our whole experience. It wasn't just about good food.. it was a great experience, thank you Ben for making a special night.... special. ”
